IF YOU WANT TO
CONTRIBUTE TO
A BETTER WORLD

THANK YOU!

Sustainability is a term we we can no longer ignore these days. And that’s a good thing, because we and future generations want to grow up in a safe and healthy environment. As HeboVanDijk, we are strongly aware of the impact on the environment of the textile industry and of the working conditions within the textile industry. Also the theme “circularity” has our full attention. By choosing certified, recycled fibres (such as recycled cotton and recycled polyester) and bio-cotton in combination with our Code of Conduct for our suppliers and a cooperation in the field of sustainable recycling of rejected laundry textiles, we are taking concrete steps towards a sustainable, circular textile chain.

RECYCLED COTTON

For a large number of articles, such as bath linen, bibs and bathrobes, HeboVanDijk uses recycled cotton: undisputedly the most sustainable form of cotton. This is made from the cutting waste that is released during the cutting and making up of white t-shirts (pre-consumer).

ORGANIC COTTON

Conventional cotton cultivation causes a number of environmental problems, especially at a local level, which are internationally recognised. The sustainable alternative to this is organically grown cotton, also known as bio-cotton. But what then are the differences between these two forms of cotton cultivation?
